The Hands to Hearts Ministry at St. Mark Church is a needlework group whose primary purpose is to crochet and knit blankets for all babies baptized at St. Mark. In addition to baby blankets, the group also crochets and knits prayer shawls and lap blankets, which are distributed to area hospitals and nursing facilities.
The group is delighted to welcome new members. Whether you are an experienced needleworker, or a beginner, you are most welcome. In fact, there are several members who enjoy teaching new members how to crochet or knit.
“We have no rules, no meeting minutes, no dues–just an enjoyable few hours in each other’s company!”
The Hands to Hearts Ministry meets every two weeks on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm in the Upper Room. Upcoming meeting dates are printed in the bulletin, or can be obtained by calling the church office at 203 377 0444.
The group happily accepts donations of yarn which can be left in the marked bin in the Upper Room.
