FATHER RUSSELL AUGUSTINE’S RETIREMENT: After 35 years of priestly ministry in the Diocese of Bridgeport, eight (8) of which he spent at St. Mark, Fr. Russell Augustine is retiring from active ministry on June 30, 2024. Fr. Russ is a wonderful priest who is very committed to his priestly ministry. We clergy and faithful of St. Mark are very grateful for his service to our parish. Please join us for a light reception for him on Sunday, June 23, 2024, following the 11:30 a.m. Mass in the parish center. All are welcome! It is an opportunity for parishioners to thank him personally and to say goodbye. Farewell, Fr. Russ, and wish you a restful and enjoyable retirement!

As you know, I will be retiring at the end of this month (July 1). You are invited to a reception after the 11:30 a.m. Mass on June 23rd. I am requesting…please, please, please…no gifts. Do something fun with your family and think of me. There is one thing I will ask of you. Please take a digital picture of you and your family with your phone or camera and email it to me at rusaug@gmail.com Please name the people in the picture. I want to put together a nice picture book. If you want, give me your prayers, thoughts, and remembrances, but no other gifts.
