Maria Damianou

Maria is a talented and skilled interdisciplinary artist known for her powerful voice and art. She has a passion for expression, singing and studying clarinet at a young age, winning awards with her artwork, and being classically trained in voice and clarinet during her college career at Hofstra University. She graduated from Sacred Heart University with a degree in Art and Design with concentrations in illustration, graphic design, studio art and studied pre-medicine with a minor in chemistry. Maria continued her education at Tufts University’s School of the Museum of Fine Arts where she studied painting and animation. She has performed nationally and internationally and her artwork has been displayed in galleries in LA and NYC. She currently works as a graphic designer and musician in the Greater New York area, she’s a cantor for St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, and volunteers as a local Emergency Medical Technician in CT.

A graduate of Saint Mark School, Maria serves as the cantor for the parish. She leads the congregation in song at all the masses.
